Super 8 by Wyndham Omaha Eppley Airport/Carter Lake

Arrived on Thanksgiving day, front desk was polite and we were checked in quickly. Got in to our room and went to the hot tub afte . Came back to our room and found our heater wasn't working. Called front desk, same gentleman, Danny, was apologetic and offered to switch rooms immediately but also asked if we would be okay if he try something to prevent us from moving (fine by us, with 3 kids switching rooms isn't prefered once they have become comfortable ). Unfortunately that didn't work and we needed to switch rooms, again, Danny was very apologetic and polite, bringing the new room keys right away and placing a new cot in the new room. For the low price of this hotel I was surprised, great service and the rooms weren't that bad. It did reek of smoke is the only downfall.... but I understand too if they upgraded and either eliminated the smoking rooms or added ventilation for it, room cost would increase. So, decent deal in the long run.

My stay here was quite enjoyable. The owner's friendliness added a personal touch to my experience. The highlight was the fantastic free breakfast. Additionally, its proximity to Eppley Airport makes it a convenient choice for travelers. However, it's worth noting that the motel is somewhat challenging to access via public transportation like buses. Overall, a great choice for a short stay with excellent amenities.

The staff was extremely accommodating, courteous, and an all-around pleasure to deal with. The rates were affordable, and the room was clean. Highly recommended.

Rob was my superhero at check in. He went over and beyond checking me in and making me feel comfortable. The lady the next day was just as wonderful. I leave tomorrow but I will definitely will recommend this wonderful place with the absolute best customer service I have received in such a very long time from a hotel motel situation. Thank you rob for being my superhero at the end of the day on Sunday. It was such a nice relaxing 2-day stay away from cats that I was allergic to and trying to recover before my trip home.

I recently stayed at the Super 8 by Wyndham in Carter Lake, and overall, it was a satisfactory experience, especially considering the affordability and proximity to the airport. **Location:** The hotel's location is incredibly convenient for travelers. It's just a few minutes' drive from Eppley Airfield, making it ideal for early morning flights or late-night arrivals. The surrounding area is quiet, which allowed for a good night’s sleep, despite being so close to the airport. **Room:** The room was clean and adequately furnished. The bed was comfortable, and the linens were fresh. However, the decor felt a bit outdated, and the lighting in the room could have been brighter. The bathroom was also clean, with plenty of towels provided, but the fixtures showed some signs of wear and tear. **Amenities:** The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast, which was a nice touch. The selection included the basics: cereal, toast, coffee, and a few pastries. Nothing fancy, but it did the job. There’s also free Wi-Fi

It wasn't the greatest. The bed was not good it sank in the middle I'd say the worst was the loud drunk guest yelling and cussing not caring if anyone needed sleep so I made sure I returned the favor at 3am the next day but I'm sure they were probably passed out. No we didn't complain to the front desk because I work in the hotel business and not much gets done about this problem. The front desk was really nice ladies when we checked in that was the best part.

Tammy and her fellow staff went above and beyond in making sure my jacuzzi room was hygienic and comfortable. Please give this woman a raise. I saw wi th my own eyes how she works her butt off and treats people with respect. Even when people were short with her she had nothing but a smile on her face. I hope life brings nothing but happiness to this individual and her staff. Super clean but old rooms. Keep in mind it’s not the Hilton but that’s also why they don’t charge the Hilton price. The jacuzzi was the best one I’ve ever seen. Thank you Tammy!
